More About Me
Having participated in various sporting disciplines throughout the years,
and suffering a variety of injuries from head to toe, led me to investigate
numerous treatment alternatives. This ultimately directed me towards
my career path and has given me a keen understanding of the stresses
competitive sport and general pain has on the body, and the key role
Manual Therapy plays on restoring function and improving performance.
After 17 years abroad, I am delighted to be back in Hawkes Bay offering
my unique form of "Hands On" therapy. Throughout my career, I
spent much of my time treating athletes from rugby players to bodybuilders,
endurance athletes to downhill mountain bikers as well as office administrators
to retirees. With a personal interest in rugby and experience working with
various teams in Ireland, I couldn't help but involve myself with club rugby
locally, and am proud to have teamed up with Napier Old Boys Marist.
My goal is simple, to help you help yourself to eliminate your pain.
To improve your performance. To improve your well-being and quality
of life.
I see myself as a facilitator, the body has a tremendous capacity to
heal itself with the right bit of intervention.
